Biography

Brian Behan is a recent graduate from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography; Human and Environment Systems. Previously, he served honorably in the Air Force and accomplished humanitarian work in Northern Thailand, during his military career he discovered his admiration of the environment and nature. Recently he’s been a returning seasonal employee in the ski resort industry. He had the honor to be seasonally employed by City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park, where he built a new trail map, conducted a species richness count, created GIS data for stream networks and watersheds in park boundaries, and held Ranger talks and interpretive hikes. To further his understanding with Natural Resources, he decided to enroll in the Masters of Ecological Restoration program. Brian’s dream is to become a Natural Resources Manager for the National Park Service or the National Forest Service. He looks forward to serving his nation again but in a different light.
