Biography
Tom Doolittle is pursuing an MS degree in Ecology in the Department of Watershed Sciences. In Tom's research he is using spatial optimization techniques to identify climate corridors across Utah, connecting areas of climate refuge for species of greatest conservation needs. His research will help inform management decisions in Utah to maximize resilience to climate change. Tom graduated from Utah State University in 2024 with a BS in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. He has also spent time working as a fisheries technician for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game where he found a passion for snorkeling streams and exploring wild areas throughout the western united states. In his free time Tom enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and stream snorkeling.
