Biography
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Janice Brahney
Adrienne is a Ph.D. student working in the Environmental Biogeochemistry and Paleolimnology Lab with Dr. Janice Brahney. Her research focuses on the eutrophication of alpine lakes, with study sites in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. She got her undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her M.S. from Southern Illinois University Carbondale studying the effects of nutrient enrichment on parasite host interactions in freshwater systems. Between pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees she held a variety of different positions with state and federal agencies working with everything from sage grouse and stream assessment to plant monitoring and restoration. In her free time, she likes to backpack, rockhound, and embroider.
