Dr. Zach Miller has over 10 years of experience in researching, managing, and planning for visitor use in parks and protected areas around the globe. Dr. Miller holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from California State University, Chico, an M.S. in Park, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University, and a Ph.D. in Forest and Conservation from the University of Montana. He spent a year as a post-doc at Penn State in the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management, followed by a year as an Assistant Research Professor. Dr. Miller was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environment and Society at Utah State University from the fall of 2019 to the spring of 2021.
