In Memoriam of Nat Frazer 1949-2020
“It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember”- Unknown
We were all saddened to learn that Nat Frazer, Dean of the Quinney College from 2006 to 2011, passed away from complications of Hodgkins Disease this past Monday. We will all miss Nat's passionate support of environmental causes and his dedication to educating the next generation of students on ways to sustainably manage our planet. Nat’s legacy in the College of Natural Resources is far reaching and lasting. In an article titled, “Hope and optimism” Nat’s dedication to his students and the earth were shown as part of his character. During his presentation Nat said, “…there are things that the earth and the universe can teach us if we will be quiet and pay attention.”
Faye Frazer wanted to extend her appreciation to everyone who has left kind thoughts and consoling messages. Cards and letters can be sent to her at 1863 Friendly St., Eugene, OR. 97402-4055.
There are no formal plans at this time, and in lieu of flowers, Faye indicated that donations to the charity of your choice should be made in Nat's name. Nat left a scholarship endowment to support QCNR students and contributions can be made to this scholarship.
