Charles Romesburg,1938 - 2021

Dr. Charles Romesburg passed away April 18, 2021. He was 83 years old. Charles was a Professor in the Environment and Society Department from its inception in 2002 until his retirement a few years ago and before that was faculty in CNR’s Forestry Department from 1984.

Charles was a modest man and a true polymath.  His book Cluster Analysis has been translated into many different languages and is considered one of the best books on that topic. His latest book, The Arts & You, was the product of at least 10 years of research.

He did very much care for animals and was an active donor to that cause. Anyone who would like to honor Charles could do it through a donation to the Cache Humane Society. He is, and will be, missed.
