Alumni and Community Services
Services for QCNR Alumni
All USU alumni are welcome to visit any USU Library location to use on-site print or online resources.
¤ Use Electronic Journals and Other Materials
Alumni can access all of the Library's online resources, including licensed materials, from Library and campus computers. However, licensing agreements prevent providing off-site access to users who are not USU students, faculty or staff.
¤ Check Out Books
Current annual and life members of the USU Alumni Association can borrow books and other regularly circulating materials by presenting their valid USU membership card and a photo ID at the circulation desk.
¤ Get Help with Research
All alumni can consult a librarian through the Ask a Librarian service. Help is available via telephone, e-mail, or in person
Services for the Community
The Library is open (Library Hours) to the general public and provides reference assistance, access to information, and use of resources in the library, including access to electronic resources.
We also offer remote online access to our catalog, government information, and our open access databases.
Our media collection includes DVDs and teaching kits. DVDs are located on the first floor behind the desk. Most items may be checked out for 3 days. Education trunks may be checked out for 2 weeks.
Concurrent Enrollment High School Students:
You can access most of the library article collections, e-journals and electronic books from anywhere in the world just by entering your A# when prompted.
