Services for QCNR Graduate Students
Advanced Research Skills
We provide assistance in locating materials on a topic or using the many online resources provided for your research and teaching needs. In-person or email help is available.
Resources
The Library has more than 50 computers for QCNR students complete with file storage and printing in both black & white and color. We provide access to sound and powerful discovery and delivery tools.
Spaces
There are individual tables, group tables, and group study spaces available on each floor of the library. The second floor conference area can be reserved and both the first and third floors have group seating in comfortable sofa sets.
Requests
Materials not owned by the University Libraries may be obtained from other libraries using our ILLiad service. There is no charge for this service. Click here to request a purchase for the Quinney Library.
Copyright Guidance
Understanding the basics of copyright will save you time and trouble down the road, and will be invaluable for effectively engaging in an information-rich environment. It will aid you in your research, and help you to begin thinking about the academic publishing landscape, your own intellectual property, and how to best facilitate sharing your own work.
Subject Area Specialists
Each department has a specific subject librarian with expertise in the research processes and resources of the field. The subject librarian is there to support your research and curricular needs.
