Biography
she/her
Dani is an Ecology PhD student in Dr. Janice Brahney's lab at USU. She received her master's degree from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) studying shrub encroachment effects on alpine tundra soil properties. After her master's she worked for the USDA-NRCS and the Toolik Field Station as a tech. After a two year hiatus from school she decided to return for her PhD at USU where she will broadly study dust chemistry and how its deposition will affect the environment. In her off-time Dani enjoys hiking scenic trails, cooking, and listening to music.
