USFS PACIFIC NW RESEARCH STATION
Tucker is a postdoc with the Hessburg lab at the USFS Pacific Northwest Research Station in Wenatchee, WA. He uses forest landscape models to study how fire and climate will shape forested landscapes of the interior Columbia basin over the coming century, and he’s exploring how various management strategies may be used to bolster landscape resilience and to maintain healthy functioning forests in a rapidly changing world.
