Mark started a PhD at the University of Montana in January 2021, studying the effects of climate and suppression on fire. He also has a solo photography exhibit on display November–December on the campus of UM, entitled “Wilderness Fire”—the exhibit showcases the beauty of a landscape that is intimately tied to fire.
